Information we process

KATAKA may process your name or display name, email, phone number, authentication details, scheduled call times, language-learning settings, subscription status, and customer support messages.

To provide phone-based learning, we may process call date and time, call connection status, transcripts or summaries, corrected sentences, report output, and other learning data.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. KATAKA does not directly store full card numbers or security codes, but may process operational payment metadata such as plan, receipt, and billing status.

How we use information

We use personal information to place calls, manage scheduling, authenticate accounts, provide learning reports, manage subscriptions and billing, provide support, and send service notices.

We may also use information for reliability, debugging, misuse prevention, security monitoring, product analytics, feature improvement, and call quality improvement.

AI and call data

Call content and learning report data may be processed by automated systems or AI providers to generate your learning results and improve the quality of later sessions.

KATAKA uses call data only as needed for learning, support, safety, and service quality. We do not sell your private conversations for advertising sales.

Retention

We retain personal information while your account is active, while needed to provide the service, and as needed for legal obligations, dispute handling, accounting records, and security.

When you request deletion, we will process the request after reasonable verification. Some information may be retained for a limited period when required by law or needed for billing disputes.

Service providers

Vendors that support calling, authentication, payments, hosting, data storage, analytics, customer support, and AI processing may process personal information for service operations.

KATAKA does not sell personal information. We share information only as needed for service providers, legal requirements, rights protection, your request, or your consent.

Your privacy rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, processing restriction, consent withdrawal, or marketing opt-out. Additional privacy rights may apply depending on where you live.

California residents may request, where applicable, to know collected categories, delete data, correct data, opt out of sale or sharing, limit use of sensitive information, and avoid discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

Security and transfers

KATAKA uses reasonable safeguards such as access controls, encryption, log review, and permission management. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where service providers operate, with legal and contractual protections applied where required.

Children and updates

KATAKA is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

This policy may be updated as the service, law, or operations change. Material updates will be communicated through the service, email, or another reasonable channel.
